Tiger Marine Charter Co Ltd which operates the famous charter yachts SHANGANI and SILVERLINING in Phuket is starting Private Speedboat charters from end of February with their newly aquired award winning speedboat named LIMPOPO.
This great speedboat has just won the European Boat of the Year award last week at the Dusseldorf boat show.
She is comfortable and very fast. We operate with one Captain and one Hostess and have at the moment two routes which are very scenic and proved to be the most popular for a full day or half day charter.
Route One
This sells at 44,000 thai baht and is for the whole day for the whole boat and up to 6 passengers.
We pick you up from your hotel at 0900 ( you can vary this time ) and take you to the Ao Po marina where your Captain will meet you on arrival and escort you to the boat. After a welcome drink and a cold refreshing face towel you will be off and up into the scenic Phang Nga area . You can stop off at Panak island and Ko Hong phang nga and rent a kayak for 300 baht and explore the many caves before heading up past james Bond Island . You can stop there if you want but we do not recommend it , as it is crowded with tourists, then we go into the rivers where it is very picturesque, before heading down to the sea gypsey village called Panyi. there you can go ashore and buy a souvenier or have a cold beer.
From there we head south east into the beautiful waters of krabi, where there are many many beautiful islands , crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches. At one of these islands we will anchor and prepare your picnic linch which you can have on the beach ( we will set up a table and beach mats ) or you can have your lunch on Limpopo. The foredeck has a table and seating and shade and in the cabin we can set up lunch in there too.
Swim and snorkel. and there is a fresh water rinse off on the back deck.
From this area we proceed through the chanal between Ko yao yai and ko yao noi where you have the option of stopping off at this quaint little restaurant on stilts with excellent seafood and cold beer , called Laemsai seafood , you can see a picture of it under the Speedboat tab on www.tigermarinecharter.com
From there up until the end of April we can make a stopover on our secret beach where you will be totally on your own and have a drink under the big shady trees on the beach before heading back around sunset to the marina .
A wonderful day out and in complete privacy.
Route Two
This sells at 27,000 thai baht and is for the whole day for the whole boat and up to 6 passengers.
This can be done as a half day charter for those who wish that , about 5 hours , at 27,000 thai baht for the whole boat and up to 6 passengers and we leave the ao po marina and head past the beautiful Naka islands to go to the private island of khai Nui. there is a quaint little restaurant there http://www.khainui-privateisland.com
The snorkelling is good there and the beach and waters are lovely , Its a private island so to use his facilities buy a beer from them !
Its paradise and you won’t want to leave , ( you can extend into a full day if were not booked otherwise !!)
Next stop is ko Rang Yai , a stretch of beautiful white sand and the greatest little beach bar around !!! You won’t want to leave there either !!!
