About Shangani 70ft
She is the largest yacht in our fleet, capable of carrying up to 60 guests on day charters and 14 on overnight charters. Her spaciousness and ample room make her the ideal vessel for large group charters. Enjoy five-star service from our professional crew and have a great time with water activities that you'll never get bored with! Shangani can only visit the following islands on day trips: Kai Island, Maiton, Phang Nga Bay, and Naka Island. To see the Phi Phi Islands, the charter must be an overnight, as the journey to Phi Phi takes four hours.

Featuring an extremely large Saloon with very comfortable sofa seating, dining table for eight and panoramic views, a kitchen/galley with fridges, coffee bar, microwave, dishwasher, and secure locker. French windows lead to the covered quarter deck, where you can dine outdoors in the shade.

The Upper Deck is home to our ‘Africa Bar’ with reclaimed African timber as a counter top, a large, jacuzzi spa pool – perfect for sipping cocktails whilst watching the sun go down. There is also a massage table where you can destress under the magical touch of our fully trained masseuses.
Shangani's Entertainments
The ship’s entertainment computers have 50,000 songs with all artists and tastes, and about 50 kids’ movies and a selection of blockbusters. You can listen and/or watch any of this from any area of the boat, including the cabins. You can also plug in your own iPod or laptop. The ship’s position is displayed on all TT screens in the Salon and all cabins.
Internet – Cruising around Phuket, you will usually be in mobile-phone contact. WIFI is available on board free of charge. There is a small laptop on board for guests’ use. Skype is available using this system.
Pool / Jacuzzi / Spa – Fun for the children, or relaxation for the adults.
Music – We have an iPod for your music entertainment and a selection of CDs, but nearly everyone brings their iPods, iPads, and Laptops, all of which can be plugged into the ship’s music system. Likewise, movies on your iPad can be plugged into our ship’s TV.
Live Musicians – Live musicians are available to play on the boat and our beach, acoustic guitarists/singers. (Musicians may be available but at extra cost and not as part of a standard package)
Swimming – There is a large stern swim platform, which can be lowered to water level. Swimming in such crystal clear water is a wonderful experience.
On Board Water Sports Equipment
Carried on board Shangani, you will find the following sports and leisure equipment to keep you and the kids occupied if soaking up the sun and relaxing is not enough on your yacht cruise through the waters of Phuket.
Kayaks – Fun around the boat, or explore the many “hongs” (open caves) in Phang Nga Bay. Or paddle over from the yacht to a deserted white sand beach on one of the islands, where your only company will be hermit crabs and monkeys.
SUPs – Stand Up Paddleboards are provided, a cross between surfing and canoeing. These boards are another great way to explore the coastline and are great exercise too!
Snorkelling – Snorkelling equipment is provided free of charge and is the best way to enjoy the corals and aquatic life teeming below the hull. Crystal clear waters mean great visibility, and the hours will pass without you realising as you encounter the underwater world of Thailand.
Scuba Diving – Generally, we do not do scuba diving on Day charters. We have an affiliation with a really good Divemaster/instructor who would be at your expense if you needed him. The Similan Islands, 60 miles northeast of Phuket, are listed amongst the top seven dive spots in the world.
Fishing – Fishing tackle provided. You can fish from the yacht or the small dinghy. Deep-sea fishing from the stern of the yacht while cruising is great fun, and you will easily catch tuna, barracuda, and many other fish. Or you can watch the crew catching your supper!
Swimming – There is a large stern swim platform, which can be lowered to water level. Swimming in such crystal clear water is a wonderful experience.
Underwater Photography – There is an underwater camera on board; no film is provided, so pop a 35 mm roll in your bag if you wish to use it.
Thai Massage (Add On)
Thai Massage Thai massage is deservedly world-famous. We have great masseuses on board

Very Large Groups for Cruise or Beach Parties
We can provide all the amenities and entertainment catering for large parties – max 60 pax on Shangani, and we can also take an affiliated large catamaran, making a maximum of 100 people. Whether you wish to stay on board or roll it into a big beach party, we are the ones for you.
